Steph Dagger Diploma in Personal Training
Steph is from Liverpool and completed her Executive Fitness Careers Diploma in Personal Training award straight after completing her Sports Science degree at Edge Hill University. After finishing the course she immediately gained a position at an independent city centre Liverpool gym. She works full time building up a client base, completing corporate health checks and has already begun progressing with her own choice of professional development courses. Steph studied on the full-time 8 week course. 'The teaching was excellent and the knowledge I've gained is very valuable. Ben Eastwood Diploma in Personal Training
Ben is from Leeds and a graduate of Sports Coaching from UCLAN. He's recently completed his Executive Fitness Careers Diploma in Personal Training and especially liked the course organisation. Ben says 'it was a good mix of practical and theory.' Ben completed his Diploma in two stages to fit around his career commitments which have included working as a soccer coach in the United States. He completed the Gym Instructor award with a friend from his university course before heading off to the States for the summer and returned in autumn to finish the Personal Trainer element of the course. 'They're the best teachers I've had' says Ben 'learning was easy. The sections in the workbooks where we had to have a go ourselves were very helpful.' Ben found the learning environment ideal to progress 'Great facilities, training venues were nicely furnished and all the staff were friendly.'
Chris Lawler Diploma in Personal Training
Chris is from the Wirral and has recently started working with xxxxx. He was awarded his Executive Fitness Careers Diploma in Personal Training earlier in the year. He completed the 8 week full-time course. Chris says he found the teaching 'in depth, hands on and clear and easy to understand. The course material and workbooks were very useful tools for reading around topics covered in class and provided good basics for further study.' After the initial part of the course when Chris qualified for his Gym Instructor award he said 'the opportunity to find out more about my future career and plans and my next steps are going to be covered extensively in Level 3 (Advanced Fitness Instructor) but already there is plenty of time to speak with tutors about my progression.' Chris found work immediately after completing the course and is now working full-time with a growing client base.
Lee Steele Diploma in Personal Training
Former Brighton and Leyton Orient striker Lee Steele completed his studies with Executive Fitness Careers on the part-time course. Lee says 'I have always been a great believer in preparing for life after football.' Lee studied the Personal Training Diploma, 'the course was fantastic, I really enjoyed it. The fact that I only had to attend 2 Sunday's per month was perfect because it didn't interfere with my football. I was a bit nervous about having to study at home but the tutors gave me a lot of support and helped me through it. The training techniques I have learnt to use with personal training clients have also helped with my own fitness which is an added bonus. Thank you!"
Stefanie Mills Diploma in Personal Training

Mark Beesley Diploma in Personal Training
Forrest Green midfielder Mark Beesley completed his part-time Personal Training Diploma with Executive Fitness Careers. Mark liked the course format 'I loved the course because after only 3 months of study I was qualified to work in a gym and earn some extra money". 'As a former football player he wasn't alone in the new environment 'there are a couple of other football lads on my course and we help each other out because we all have a similar background.' Mark attended two Sundays each month to qualify as a Personal Trainer. 'Most of all I have to thank the PFA because they have been kind enough to pay for me to do this course.'
